Because of YOUR Donation

Our volunteers can continue their hard work to help students succeed on Tuesday and other days of the week during the school year and even in summer.  Here’s a sample of what we’ve been doing and plans for the future.

Mentors can be a caring adult in the life of a student with a rough home life.  1st & 2nd graders can improve their reading skills or a 5th grader can master math concepts.  Business partners can share lunch with a high school student to discuss the path to a great career.  College students can share the insider scoop with high school prospects on how to prepare for and succeed in college.

Junior Achievement presenters can help K – 12 students learn about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and workplace skills.  College students and area employees can practice communication skills as presenters.

We can offer career speakers, career fairs, workplace skills workshops, workplace tours, job shadowing, student internships, and teacher externships to help prepare students for the workforce and help area employers build a solid pool of potential employees.

Incoming 7th graders can build self-esteem, accountability, leadership, and collaboration skills during summer YOUth LEADership Conference.

We want to say thanks for your past, ongoing, or new support on #GivingTuesday and everyday.
