YOUth LEADership Conference for Summer 2021

Dear Volunteers and Supporters of YOUth LEADership Conference,

We at VBEC hope this note finds you and yours well as the COVID-19 situation continues. We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our event attendees, volunteers, staff, supporters, and community very seriously and are practicing abundant caution.

Like you, we’re closely monitoring and adjusting to the ever changing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are following guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, local public health officials, and state and local authorities as they pertain to every day operations and special events such as summer camps.  We are also in consultation with peer organizations that serve youth such as YMCA Golden Crescent, Boys & Girls Club – Victoria, Childrens’ Discovery Museum, churches that host Vacation Bible School, and others.

The good news is we are making plans in hopes YLC 2021 can happen.  We would like to try to hold camp in early June as usual.  Venue and capacity are major considerations so we can adhere to social distancing directives.

We are also considering some new activities for future camps…. so stay tuned.

Be Well and Stay Safe
